20 years ago, when oil was way cheaper than pellets KWB already brought out innovative heating systems. During these two decades of experience our heatings have improved a lot on the level of comfort. They are in use 40.000 times already.
At our developing and manufacturing base in St. Margarethen/Raab our employees are carrying out research on new innovative solutions when it comes to renewable energy systems. Modern test stands for simulations and the latest measuring instruments ensure our high aspiration for innovation.
The KWB Crawler burner ist he core of the KWB Multifire wood chip and pellet heating system as well as of the KWB PelletfirePlus pellet heating system. Because of his flexibility when it comes to fluctuating fuel qualities the KWB crawler burner is an allrounder, that is set for different kinds of wood chips and pellets.
- First burner with 100 % high-alloy self-cleaning cast grate components
- Current-saving high-energy ignition system
- Powered by current-saving multiphase motor
- Optimal exhaust thanks to a flow-optimized silicon carbide combustion chamber
- Broad fuel flexibility
All KWB systems can be dismantled into several modules, which allows our products to be placed in almost every heating room and easily installed even in tight spaces. We call it the KWB modular assembly system.
- Easy transport
- Quick installation
- No scratches on the walls as the components can be seperately be transported
The great advantage offered by this conveyor system is maximum capacity utilisation of the storage room volume. The quiet extraction technology consists of a stirrer, a gearbox and a conveyor screw which can be custom-shortened on site. The fuel is conducted to The KWB Pellet Stirrer Plus can be combined with a pellet elbow screw consisting of an ascending screw and screw extensions. This extractor model is suitable for square, round as well as rectangular storage rooms that are situated next to the heating room. However, the KWB Stirrer Plus can also be combined with a subsequent suction conveyance.
The KWB Pellet Big Bag primarily scores points because of its optimal space utilisation. Standard sizes of 2.2 to 10.5 tons fill content are available for selection; they are made of dust-proof, anti-static fabric that is supported by a gal¬vanised metal frame. If a certain minimum distance to the heating system is adhered to, the Big Bag can be set up directly in the heating room (depending on the local fire-safety regulations), in the storage room, or even outdoors, if it is protected against weather. In combination with the pellet heating system KWB PelletfirePlus, the Pellet Stirrer Plus in the KWB Pellet Big Bag was equipped with a more durable gear unit and a more powerful motor.
The cleanEfficiency label indicates lowest emission values, highest efficiency and low energy consumption as well as a perfect alignment of construction and control elements. That means:
- Seperate combustion zones
- Large than average under-feed burner ensures a stable ember bed and stressfree and clean combustion
- Low emissions due to a dust separator with cyclone effect
The KWB Easyfire pellet heating system is equipped with a broadband lambda probe. It was developed for biomass heating systems only. The broadband lambda probe guarantees for clean combustion even when it comes to fluctuating fuel qualities. Thanks to the high-energy ignition system a lot of energy can be saved. Ignition happens within 3 minutes.
